Dallas SWE participated in the Frisco Library Family Science Night in June! Elementary school students enjoyed a night of hands on STEM activities and demos! At the Dallas SWE table, students learned about acids and bases through chemistry experiments and learned about chemical reactions from a volcano experiment. They also learned about the life of a research scientist and biomedical engineer through microscope demos and eye anatomy demos. The Dallas SWE table had 3 hours of non-stop traffic from students and families! Thank you to Dallas SWE volunteers Lyndsey Bouve, Robyn Broniewski, Latischa Hanson, Terri Ho, and Cyonna Holmes for volunteering!
